Got a lovely present from SewNatural.....

So, a couple of weeks ago I came up with an idea to promote one of my fave people.......I offered to make a doll using the fabric scraps she offered to give me ages ago, and guess what?! They arrived yesterday :)

They're sooooo pretty and all made from organic and/or fairtrade materials :D So you can actually help save the world softie by softie :) I for one am loving the idea.

I haven't decided which softie I'll be making with them, but I'm thinking either a Buzzing Bee since I adore all the pretty purple colors or.....something you haven't seen before :)

"Tilda Tulip" doll...

I finished my Tulipgirl pattern a little while ago, but due to problems with my sewing machine (which still haven't been taken care of :) ) it took forever to finish this doll. I love the end result though, I really think the smaller face, simpler shoes and cute stockings work well:D

IF you love her as much as I do you can always buy her at my Dawanda shop, or you could just wait for me to finish the pattern and make your own :)

- Unbleached cotton for the legs and arms.

All you need is some embroidery thread and stuffing. You can swap the felt for wool felt, but since I'm allergic to wool the wool-blend I'm using is the best I can do.
